ABOUT DAWN

I am a wife, mom of 3, an entrepreneur and performer/ recording artist. I go my start at 5 doing solos in my school plays. I went on from there to enter numerous contests, that I was blessed to win. Music and Dance was always an escape for me. It was my “thing” that made me feel special. I continued to study Dance through college and have had a commitment to vocal excellence by working with various coaches and teachers throughout the years. Highlights have been being a member of the Montgomery Ballet Company, winning the World Youth Festival Talent Competition, Dancing in the Oberlin Dance College Company.

Also, my parents encouraged me to pursue academics. Therefore, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and was blessed to attend Oberlin College, Northwestern University and University of Cincinnati.My husband and my children bring great joy to my life. The are my grounding and my excitement all rolled up in one.

My husband who has proven himself to be my best friend in ever increasing measure is co – owner with me of our record label, LaDaJeMS Media & Marketing, LLC (Lamar, Dawn, Jeffrey, Mitchell, and Sydnee).

In addition, I am grateful to be currently employed as a Marketing Leader for PPO Network in Greater Cincinnati.
